about

Dorothy Mackaill was a young office girl from Hull. She ran away to Europe to become a dancer, and eventually ended up in Hollywood becoming the first English rose actress on the silver screen.

This song is being released to celebrate the 110th anniversary of the birth of Dorothy. Although the song is free to download, you can make a contribution with all profit going to our favourite movie based Hull charity “The National Civilian World War 2 Memorial Trust”.
